UPRI Talks present JUAN MIGUEL TORRES: “Art, Communities, and Resilience”

“Art is the queen of all sciences communicating knowledge to all the generations of the world.” ― Leonardo da Vinci In times of national crises borne of natural or man-made calamities, underpriviledged communities are the most vulnerable. Juan Miguel Torres from the Art for Resilient Communities Network, posits that the idea of resilience should be incorporated through art and creative methods. He issues the challenge for community-based art interventions in his #UPRI Knowledge Sharing lecture entitled “Art, Communities, and Resilience” as he believes that the closer relationships built through this collective experience makes more resilient communities. #BeResilientPH ✊🏽
