Association of Pacific Rim Universities (APRU) – Multi Hazards Program

 

UP and UPRI participated at the Core Group Meeting of the Association of Pacific Rim Universities (APRU) – Multi Hazards Program based at the International Research Institute of Disaster Science, Tohoku University, Sendai, Japan in July 28, 2018, with Dr. Emmanuel M. Luna, Professor of Community Development as the UP representative. APRU has 52 member Universities from 18 countries and UP is the only member from the Philippines. UP is also one of the 12 countries comprising the Core Group of the Multi Hazards Program. The meeting was participated by Dr. Fumihiko Imamura (IREDes), Ms. Christina Schonleber (APRU Secretariat), and Dr. Takako Izumi (Director of the Multi Hazards Program).
