On June 27, 2023, The UP Resilience Institute (UP RI) Institute Building Team held a preliminary meeting via Zoom meeting with UP Baguio for the upcoming PSCP Training Workshop and Cultural Hub Exploratory Talks in their campus. The meeting started with Dir. Genaro Cuaresma who briefly introduced the UP RI, its mandate, and other relevant projects in collaboration with the CUs. He emphasized the importance of mainstreaming climate change in crafting the PSCP and establishing a hub in UP Baguio which will focus on cultural resilience.
Afterwards, Dir. Cuaresma gave the floor to Mr. Ongkiko to discuss the schedule, activity program, and logistics arrangements where the UP Baguio shall prepare the venue, other necessary workshop equipment, and meals for the participating UPB officers, staff, and UP RI staff during the workshop. Every office/unit in UP Baguio is also requested to have the list of their respective mission essential functions (MEFs) prepared prior to the training-workshop. Chancellor Corazon Abansi verified the arrangements upon reviewing them.
Moving forward, the Office of the Chancellor of UP Baguio will send a letter of Confirmation Agreement (CA) for the PSCP Training Workshop and Cultural Hub Exploratory on July 13–14, 2023.
