Mapúa Malayan Colleges Laguna (MCL) recognized the University of the Philippines Resilience Institute (UPRI) as one of its Outstanding Strategic Partners during a special celebration of its 19th anniversary on February 3, 2025, as part of the IZN highlights.
UPRI played a key role in helping Mapúa MCL achieve several milestones, including CHED autonomous status, a 3-star rating from the QS Stars rating system in 2020, inclusion in THE Impact Rankings in 2020, recognition in the WURI rankings in 2024, placement in the UI GreenMetric World University Rankings in 2024, membership in the ASEAN University Network, ISO 21001:2018 certification, and recognition from the Belgian Maritime Inspectorate.
The Plaque of Recognition was accepted by Executive Director Dr. Mahar Lagmay on behalf of UPRI.
