RCW Director Glecy C. Atienza participated in the Gender Equality and Inclusion (GEI) Working Group focus group discussion evaluation to gain insights on the recently concluded CLARE Network on Gender Equality and Inclusion (GEI) Workshop held in Kigali, Rwanda, from 16-20 September 2024. Insights on the importance of gender equality in climate change action were discussed to guide the team through planning more inclusive and gender-sensitive climate programs.
Facilitators from the CLARE team, led by Shannon Sutton and Nitya Rao, discussed feedback on how the Working Group members designed the workshop to allow participants to become more aware of concerts related to gender equality in their work. The workshop was attended by CLARE network members led by RURBANISE staff based in Quezon City. (GCA)
