As part of the Women’s Month Celebration, the Information and Communications Technology Management Service (ICTMS) of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) conducted a mapping activity titled “MAPAbabae: OpenStreetMap Workshop and Mapathon with Women and for Women” last March 22, 2018 at the DSWD Central Office Auditorium. The workshop aims to engage the women of DSWD in identifying and mapping women and child-friendly spaces in the country as well as those that help provide more effective DSWD service and other mapping priorities of women. The use of Open-StreetMap was introduced by UPRI researchers.
