UP Resilience Institute introduced the GINA App to the RMI Youth and the RMI Community. GINA stands for Growing Indigenous Trees in your Area. This is a mobile application prototype that connects people who want to plant to nurseries that offer seedlings. The app also suggests places to plant and will allow users to offer their own places as planting area. GINA also shows tree planting events around the country to which users can join. The application is also gamified, users can earn points per activity done thru the GINA.
