Research Grant: Editors for Book Project on Disaster and Climate Emergency

Dr. Kristoffer Berse, Director for Research and Creative Work (RCW), and Ms. Micah Nazal, held an online Skype meeting with editors to review the chapters of the RCW Grant Recipients in continuation of the RCW Grant and Book Project 2019. Dr. Anthony La Viña of the UP Diliman College of Law and Dr. Juan Pulhin of the UP Los Baños College of Forestry and Natural Resources, together with Dr. Berse reviewed the written works of the RCW Grant recipients who consist of experts and faculty across the UP system.

As part of the UP Resilience Institute Grant and Book Project, the RCW developed a writing template and guide for the book authors. The guidelines are a consolidation of recommendations of the book editors, who sent the writing template and guide to the authors and grant recipients together with their edited chapters on April 3, 2020.

The RCW Grant and Book Project is in application of UPRI’s mandate to produce knowledge and popularize researches in disaster risk reduction and climate change adaptation and mitigation (DRR-CCAM).
