Future Earth Philippines

The Future Earth Philippines Program (FEPP) is a multi-sectoral and transdisciplinary endeavor that seeks to strengthen the country’s sustainability and resilience through science-based solutions. FEPP was inspired from Future Earth, a 10-year international scientific endeavor that aims to provide the critical knowledge required for societies to face challenges posed by global environmental change and to identify opportunities for a transition to global sustainability. The initiative to establish FEPP was proposed by the National Academy of Science and Technology, Philippines (NAST PHL) along with a group of scientists in 2017. The Department of Science and Technology (DOST) supported the FEPP exploratory phase from September 2018 to December 2019.

The videos posted below are the recorded presentations and discussions by some of the leading scientists in the Philippines. They serve as good scientific reference for Local Government Units in crafting development plans for their respective communities to attain sustainable development goals (SDGs).
