The Cavite State University welcomed Dr. Lagmay last September 25, 2023 for the kick-off of its Research and Extension Week, a four-day celebration dedicated to showcasing the university’s innovative projects.
The theme of the celebration was “Rediscovering and Reframing Strategies for a Holistic Research and Extension that Nurtures and Recognizes Excellence.”. Dr. Lagmay gave the keynote speech about Systems Approach to Climate Change Impacts to officially begin Research and Extension week.
Some of the highlights during the event were the launch of the Special Research and Extension Exhibit at the University Museum and the launching of the Science Café by Café Severino. Dr. Lagmay had the honor of cutting the ribbon to open exhibit and the café.
