On August 1–2, 2026, four representatives from the University of the Philippines (UP) were deployed to provide Emergency Response Support during the 2026 UP College Admission Test (UPCAT) held in Bonifacio Global City (BGC), Taguig. The team consisted of two representatives from the UP Resilience Institute (UPRI) Institutional Building Division, Ms. Jerzyne Anne Corpuz and Mr. Patrick Ryan Bello, and two representatives from the UP Manila Disaster Risk Reduction and Management in Health (DRRM-H), Ms. Trisha May Hilario and Mr. Tyrone Victor Espera.

On Day 1, the team coordinated with Ms. Marie Dela Cruz, Supervising Office Associate, and Yasmin Edañol Hall, Supervising Examiner, upon arrival at the examination venue. The team introduced themselves, completed the required check-in procedures, and coordinated with the designated Incident Commander and security personnel regarding their assigned roles and responsibilities.
Following the check-in, the team conducted an initial walkthrough of the examination area to familiarize themselves with the venue layout, identify emergency exits and evacuation routes, and determine the appropriate evacuation areas. The team also coordinated with security personnel to understand the existing emergency procedures and ensure that evacuation routes and access points were clearly identified. During the examination sessions, the team remained on standby and monitored the venue

On Day 2, the team continued its evacuation support role and maintained coordination with examination management, security personnel, and other designated emergency responders. The team remained positioned at their assigned areas throughout the morning and afternoon sessions and continued to monitor the venue and evacuation arrangements.
Overall, the deployment supported the emergency preparedness and evacuation arrangements for the 2026 UPCAT. The team coordinated with examination management and security personnel throughout the two-day examination. No emergency occurred during the deployment.
