This October, the Philippine Academic Society for Climate and Disaster Resilience (PASCDR), the University of the Philippines Resilience Institute (UP RI), and the University of Santo Tomas (UST) SIMBAHAYAN Community Development Office, Campus Safety and Security, and NSTP CWTS/LTS Office, will host a DRRM Summit themed “Fostering Localized DRR: Strengthening Partnerships between Academic and Local Institutions and Communities.”
The event will take place on October 25, 2024, at the University of Santo Tomas, Manila.
The Summit will bring together key actors from Local Government Units (LGUs), the academic community, and other sectors to further strengthen local stakeholder partnerships in disaster risk reduction and management, and to identify opportunities for collaboration.
