UPRI YouthMappers receives the 2023 Global Community Award and 2023 Women’s Participation Award

YouthMappers, an international university consortium on Mapping for Resilience supported by the USAID Geocenter, has released its list of chapter awardees for 2023. The UP Resilience Institute Youth Mappers (UPRI YouthMappers) is the student chapter of the network at the University of the Philippines Diliman.

For this year, the UPRI YouthMappers has received the 2023 Global Community Award and 2023 Women’s Participation Award from the YouthMappers network and USAID GeoCenter.

The Women’s Participation Award is given to chapters for committing to carry out a vision of an inclusive mapping community through membership and leadership.

Awards for YouthMappers chapters are given every first quarter of the year. Since its launch in August 2018, the UPRI YouthMappers has received 11 awards.
